So excited to use this curriculum with my 2nd grader. He can’t wait to build the simple machines and i love that it comes with all the books we need.

My Boys love it!
Introduced this curriculum to my 4th grade twin boys this week and they are now creating most of the experiments on their own, reading ahead and all around just loving this topic! I left them home while I went to pick up their brother from preschool and they had done everything on their own to make a catapult and were laughing and having a great time launching little paper balls all over the living room. Looking forward to the rest of the year!

I love the concept of the Bookshark curriculum, living books, hands-on experiments, and making learning fun, etc. However, I've never been able to stay consistent with their science curriculum. The experiments took too long, the supplied items for the entire year were all loose in the same box, and the lessons required too much prep. Noeo has solved all the problems I had with Bookshark science! The experiments are interesting and don't take long, since the kits are organized by week, it's easy to keep track of the items, and the items I'm supposed to supply are things I have lying around the house. My kids are excited about science, and I don't dread it every day!

Fun and engaging curriculum!
I bought this for my 9 yr old twins who were in 5th grade. My 7 year old 2nd grade daughter also joined in for experiments. My friend, a retired science teacher and marine biologist, came one day a week to run experiments and go over the workbooks with my kids. They had a TON of fun and learned a lot. We'll be buying the Physics 2 program for next year! My daughter (who has learning differences) did not do her own workbook but instead did bits and pieces of answering questions and such with the experiments. Other than the obvious great experiments and questions, I liked that my boys had to read portions of the reference books and answer questions based on their reading. I think it made for great practice for future research projects/papers.

My son is exceptionally intellegent and gets bored quickly. This unit keeps his attention for hours and we have a lot of fun together. We spend about 2 hours a day on this unit because we have so much fun together. I am using it as an enrichment summer program at home because I was not impressed by the summer STEM programs offered to his age group in this area. Today, we finished two experiments together and he was asking to do MORE! Hours later, I casually asked some questions about the lesson and he remembered inertia and momentum like it was no big deal. I purchased Biology 2 and Chemistry 3 for the older kids for the coming school year and I just can't wait until they dig into it. Thank you!!!!
