It's a very mundane, non engaging text. Not to mention the verbal errors that an adhd kid will obsess over. It'll be eight weeks before we even see the inside of the chemistry set? A friend of mine is a chemistry professor and sent over some papers that took about 4 weeks of work we did with noeo and explained it in 3 pages. Fun, colorful pages that will help the brain remember the facts. But with NOEO it's page after page after page of which scientist did what. I really hope it improves.
My daughter loves it!
We can’t wait to start experiments next week, the secret box is only building the anticipation for what is inside. Lots of gum was eaten this week for our Week 7 project which made for a lot of laughs. Chemistry is quickly becoming my son’s favorite subject.
The curriculum I think is good but my boys don’t love science so I’m having a hard time getting them to retain the information.
My son loves this. He just started it and can't wait to.do experiments.
Comes with everything your family needs.
Every Noeo package comes with books, matching experiments, and difficult-to-find materials that multiple kids can share and usually reuse for a year of science.
Living books, hands-on experiments, real world science.
In contrast with a single textbook approach, we think that living books, hands on experiments, lab notebooks, and other activities will encourage more interest in science.
