Comprehensive course of study

Physics 2 explores energy in its many different forms: heat, electricity, magnetism, nuclear power…the list goes on. Along the way, it takes a look at everything from the atom to sound waves to the outer planets, giving your kid a comprehensive overview of the physical world.

Everything in one box

Experiment kits and built-in lesson plans mean you can dive into electricity and radioactivity and density as soon as you open the box. Skip the Ready, Set, move straight to the Go!

Living books

Physics isn’t just about abstract forces—It’s about planets and static electricity and infinity and Archimedes. We’ve selected every book in Physics 2 to make the world come alive.

Hands-on experiments

Every week your kids will get their hands dirty in the real world by making periscopes, pendulums, homopolar motors, and more. And with easy-to-read experiment guides, your kids can do detailed experiments on their own—while you wrap up grocery planning for the week.

Shareable curriculum

Have multiple kids who want to explore the world of physics by mapping constellations and building circuits? Perfect! Physics 2 is designed so kids across multiple grades can share books, experiments, and lab manuals, or have their own.

Content to advanced

My son will be in 4th grade this coming year and bought the physics 2. The material is amazing and very complete, but he isn't anywhere ready for what is said to be for his age group.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. Our levels are based on reading comprehension and are not strictly grade-bound. We suggest that before you purchase Noeo, you take a look at the samples to make sure that the content is at the right level for your student.

Disappointed

I wanted to love the idea of a complete kit with supplies and living books, but maybe that works better for level 1. Most of the supplies are laughable. I asked to return it but got no reply. The things that should have been included are not . .. For example how are CDs considered "household items" (especially when you know they're getting scratched up). On the other hand, straws and rubber bands , those could have been left out.
Most importantly, having to to find the main information from various pages in various books like Encyclopedia or Exploratorium is exhausting and annoying. The order of topics doesn't make sense to me either, why is centripetal force at the beginning of a lesson on energy? An organized textbook would have been simpler.

Hi Safa! You are absolutely right, we have updated our household items list to be a little more realistic. After all Plaster of Paris is not something you find in every kitchen. We hope you check out the new materials list. Thank you for your feedback!

Not what I was hoping for

We had high hopes, but its not working very well for us. Half the books read just like text books, the charts for what to do daily are confusing and many of the experiments just dont work which really makes it hard for my kids to stay interested. The Lab book is just worksheets of questions and they dread that part. I really wanted Noeo to work for us, but its not a good fit. My kids using this are boy age 10 and girl age 9.

Hi Jordan! Thank you for your feedback. We listened to our customers and decided to give our curriculum a huge update. Since your purchase, we have re-evaluated the living books to make sure that they are more engaging for the students and we have designed the instructor's guide, making each lesson a breeze.

Good content overall

So far, I like the content. I don't always have the "normal household" items to complete the experiments, so we supplement with YouTube videos (which can be really cool when they have it large scale). I think the 2 teachers books (experiment guide and instructor guide) could probably be combined. We like it, overall. Will probably use, again, next year.
